Hello Everyone!!!
The Rusty Porthole has the following hours:
Bar and restaurant will open at 11AM for lunch, beverages etc.
They will have their normal menu up to and including dinner.
They will have a BBQ Tri Tip special for dinner ($10.00 with all the fixin's) plus hamburgers and hot dogs off the grill.
They are considering opening for breakfast on Tuesday if there is enough interest - add to this thread if you would like this with a head count please!
UPDATED!!! The Porthole will open for breakfast on Tuesday!!!
Peter's events:
I will set up the beach again.
We will probably run 2 water taxi's to accommodate everyone.
I will have the hobie there as well as some wave runners. Please remember - over 16 to run the wave runners by yourself - we should probably put a max age for us old farts :-).
Those who want to can sail down there with their dinghies - it's actually a fun sail. There will be coolers at the beach with adult beverages, sodas, juice, water.
I will have a car available if anyone needs to do a run for anything.
Boyd's Harbor:
We are going to move a bunch of permanent residence boats out of the marina to gain space.
We also have some overflow space next door at some private residences.
The only problem I really foresee is getting power to everyone. It probably won't be possible.
Please feel free to stay at Boyd's for the next couple of days. The restaurant will be closed till Thursday evening so the dock space is not really needed.
Franks Tract:
I came across the tract from east to west on Monday after the 4th. The east end is still heavily weeded. DOFG has been spraying and the cleanest part of the tract is the west side. Some grass and no weed.
