2019 Itinerary

Delta Doo Dah 11 will be a Do-It-Yourself rally that includes opportunities to sail and/or socialize with fellow fleet members.

Tuesday, April 2, 2019, noon: Registration opens.

Thursday, April 4, 2:15 p.m.: We'll participate in a cruising seminar at the Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show, Craneway Pavilion, Richmond.

Friday, April 5, 10:30 a.m.: Cruising seminar at Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show, Craneway Pavilion, Richmond.

Saturday, May 18, 6-9:30 p.m.: Delta Cruising Seminar & Kickoff Party at Richmond Yacht Club. Breakout Sessions for anchoring, destinations and the return trip to the Bay; door prizes; complimentary hors d'oeuvres; no-host bar. With: Craig & Ann Perez, RYC; Doodette Christine Weaver; Tom Lueck, Stockton SC; Bill Wells, Delta Chambers. All experience levels welcome; if this is not your first rodeo, come share information you've discovered in previous Delta cruises. You must be officially registered in this year's Doo Dah to be eligible to win prizes. Free!

Saturday, June 1. Doo Dah Ditch Run. Race or cruise from Richmond Yacht Club to Stockton Sailing Club. Regatta registration is closed. Call (510) 234-6959 to arrange for dock space if you plan to stay at SSC beyond June 2. Register here.

Sunday, June 2, 7 a.m. Doo Dah Ditch Run breakfast, followed by awards, at Stockton Sailing Club.

Saturday, July 13. Delta Doo Rah Party. Noon- 4 p.m.: Enjoy wine tasting from a local winery with food pairing at the Delta Bay Marina. Free BBQ; $10 donation for wine tasting to benefit local charity. An art show presenting works by local artists has been added to the event. Also in the works, a jam session led by Michael McNevin. Michael will bring amps and mics; you bring your instruments. At 4 p.m., Bill Wells, Executive Director of the California Delta Chambers & Visitor's Bureau will host a seminar about the maritime history of the Bay and Delta river route and show us Delta photos dating back to the early 20th century, explaining the early settlement of the Delta by Europeans. Sunday, July 21: Deadline to RSVP for Owl Harbor's 10th Anniversary Celebration (see below).

Friday, August 16-Sunday, August 18: Join Owl Harbor for their 10-year anniversary celebration weekend.
Friday, August 16, 4 p.m.: Check in and pick up your goody bag & itinerary. Casual dinner followed by dancing to the tunes of the Mere Mortals Band.
Saturday, August 17: A full day of games & events. Dinner followed by movies on the green.
Sunday, August 18, 9 a.m.: Breakfast.
Reserve a slip and RSVP for specific events — especially meals — at (916) 777-6055 by July 21.

Saturday-Sunday, August 17-18: Bay View Boat Club invites a limited number (probably about 8) of Delta Doo Dah boats to their Bradford Island property on the San Joaquin River for their Annual Delta Party, which includes a big BBQ ($10 cash) and live music on Saturday evening. This is a primitive location: There is no drinking water and no shorepower, but there are two heads. You'll probably have to anchor out, and you'll need to pack out your trash.
